RULES FOR DATA AVAILABILITY
Official statistics ensure all users equal, simultaneous, and non-discriminatory access to statistical data. Individual data and personal data collected and gathered in official statistical surveys are subject to special protection. They are covered by statistical confidentiality, which means they cannot be shared or published – they are used exclusively for statistical studies, compilations, and analyses, as well as for creating a statistical survey frame by official statistics services. Aggregated data cannot be published or shared either, if it is possible to identify a specific person or economic entity from them. In the case of individual data, this means that information characterizing the economic results of economic entities cannot be made available if a given aggregation consists of fewer than 3 entities or if the share of one entity in a specific compilation is greater than 3/4 of the total.
Orders for unpublished data and for information from official registers are fulfilled for a fee. The basis for calculating the costs of making data available is the currently applicable "Price list for services provided by official statistics services".
SCOPE AND FORM OF DATA AVAILABILITY
The scope and form of the statistical information provided are defined by the Program of Statistical Surveys of Official Statistics, which is approved annually by the Council of Ministers. All other aggregations of statistical data – beyond those listed in the Program – can be prepared (subject to statistical confidentiality) upon a special order of the recipient for a fee.
Information is made available in the form of:
