Accessibility Declaration

The Statistical Office in Poznań undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4 April 2019 on the Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies. Handling requests and complaints related to accessibility

Everyone has the right to request the digital accessibility of a specific element of the website. It is also possible to request information to be made available via an alternative access method, for example, by reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a video without audio description, etc. The request should include the contact details of the person making the request, an indication of the website concerned, and the preferred method of contact. If the person making the request expresses a need to receive information via an alternative access method, they should also specify a convenient way of presenting this information.
The Statistical Office in Poznań should fulfill the request immediately, no later than within 7 days from the date of the request. If meeting this deadline is not possible, the public sector body shall immediately inform the person making the request of the new date when the request will be fulfilled, provided that this deadline cannot exceed 2 months from the date of the request. If providing digital accessibility is not possible, the public sector body may propose an alternative method of accessing the information.
If the public sector body refuses to comply with the request to provide accessibility or an alternative method of accessing information, the person making the request may submit a complaint regarding the digital accessibility of the website, mobile application, or a website element. After exhausting the above-mentioned procedure, it is possible to submit an application to the Polish Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman).

Architectural Accessibility

Building: Statistical Office in Poznań, ul. Wojska Polskiego 27/29, 60-624 Poznań

The building is accessed via one main entrance from Wojska Polskiego Street 27/29.
The building consists of five storeys.
The access route to the building is paved.
Stairs lead from the outside to the main lobby. On the right side of the stairs, there is an inclined wheelchair lift that enables the transport of people with disabilities to the main lobby level.
In front of the entrance to the main lobby, there is a tactile (typhlographic) map showing the layout of the accessible part of the ground floor.
The information point/reception desk is located to the right of the entrance to the main lobby.
An accessible toilet for people with disabilities is located on the ground floor of the main lobby (in the section leading to the information center), next to the passenger elevator.
There is one designated parking space for people with disabilities in front of the building. A second such space is located in the courtyard.
The building is equipped with one passenger elevator with sliding doors, which can accommodate a wheelchair. The floor buttons on the elevator control panel are marked both numerically and in Braille.
The REGON rooms, the information center, and the toilets in the accessible area are marked in Braille.
There are no other markings in Braille, nor contrast markings or enlarged print for blind and visually impaired people in the building.
The building is free of thresholds that would hinder wheelchair movement.
The width of the doors leading to the individual floors of the Office is adapted to allow free movement for people with disabilities.

Customers are received in the REGON Room, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the staircase.
The building is not equipped with an elevator, inclined wheelchair lifts, or an accessible toilet for people with disabilities.
There are no markings in Braille, contrast markings, or enlarged print in the building.
There are no designated parking spaces for people with disabilities.

The premises of the Office are located in the basement, on the ground floor, and on the first floor of the building.
Customers are received in the REGON Room / Information Center located on the ground floor.

The building consists of three storeys, including two above-ground.
External stairs lead to the main entrance of the building.
The premises of the Office are located in the basement and on the first floor.
Customers are received in the REGON Room, which is located on the first floor in the immediate vicinity of the staircase.

The building is accessed via the entrance from Niepodległości Avenue 37.

The building consists of seven storeys, including six above-ground.
The Office is located on the first and second floors.
Customers are received in the REGON Room located on the second floor.
The building is equipped with two passenger elevators – there are no sliding doors.
The REGON rooms, the information center, and the toilets in the accessible area are marked in Braille.

Communication and information accessibility

At the Statistical Office in Poznań and its Branch Offices in Kalisz, Konin, Leszno, and Piła

During a visit to the Office, it is possible to use the assistance of a sign language interpreter.

Pursuant to the Act of August 19, 2011 on Sign Language and Other Means of Communication (Journal of Laws No. 209, item 1243), any person permanently or temporarily experiencing communication difficulties may use the assistance of a sign language interpreter when handling matters at the office.

The intention to use this assistance must be reported to the office at least 3 working days before the intended date of visiting the office.

The Office will ensure service for the person with disabilities on the date specified by them, and if this is not possible, it will schedule another available date.
The assistance of an interpreter at the office is free of charge only for an eligible person who is a person with disabilities within the meaning of the Act of August 27, 1997 on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Journal of Laws of 2011, No. 127, item 721 and No. 171, item 1016).
