Regional cooperation is among the strategic development areas of official statistics. Activities implemented in the development of statistics and analyses, necessary for making appropriate development decisions and initiatives in the regions, aim to provide users with high-quality statistical products and specialized information and analytical services.Providing professional, reliable, and objective statistical information that reflects the socio-economic situation of the region and is tailored to the needs of users is the primary objective of the Voivodship Centres for Regional Surveys operating within the statistical offices.
As part of its activities, the Wielkopolska Centre for Regional Studies collaborates with:

- voivodship-level government administration,
- the scientific community,
- the business environment,
- schools and academic communities,
- the media,
- other institutions.
